Well, if I had to wait through another 18 picks before getting my RB2 @#60, I'd be encouraging continuation of the WR run too...
But I guess LT alone is pretty much like having 2 RBs anyway...Apolyton's Grim Reaper 2008, 2010 & 2011

Eh, jag's nearly using my strategy from L1. Load up on WR, because that's where the money is in catch leagues.
... except that I had ronnie brown as RB2 before I loaded up<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.

We talked, but ultimately his asking price was a bit steep for my taste. Big props to Jaguar for following through with the discussion, though.
At this point, there are still 3-5 viable RBs left, but I was a bit surprised he didn't take one here.Apolyton's Grim Reaper 2008, 2010 & 2011

Given most everyone has 2-3 RBs at this point, and relatively few of us are looking for an RB, it's probably reasonable to take 2 WRs (both of whom will be starters, if he starts WR at the wr/rb slot) who are both high quality players, rather than the RB that is a much lower quality player.
But that's the curse of picks 1 and 10... (and 2 and 9 to some extent). You often have to take a much more aggressive strategy, especially faced with an unusual run on a position [like QB here].
The LT trade will not happen by the way I think Jag remembered what happened the last time he traded me LT (last year)...<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not criticizing the Driver-Colston picks. Far from it.
The one time I did it, I loved drafting from the 10 slot. I've never drafted from the #1 slot.Last edited by -Jrabbit; August 1, 2007, 20:19.Apolyton's Grim Reaper 2008, 2010 & 2011

I sent DOY one of my patented with-link PMs
I can totally see the 3-WR strategy, especially being the first to draft a third WR while most others have one. It'll be interesting to see what's left in RBs at the end of round 6.Apolyton's Grim Reaper 2008, 2010 & 2011

Can we start making bets on Duke's pick?Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

He has RB, QB, WR, TE, but I wasn't suggesting we bet on his past.
I'm talking about his next pick.Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

A $1.68 is all I can scrape together at the moment, but I think I'd put the whole wad on, well it's the top 2 rated I think, and I'd go with a some proven commodity.
