It's not even August yet, so I don't even care if we "lost half a round". Maybe in some of the later rounds, training camps will tell us which sleepers to actually draft .

If you don't want the draft to go, don't start it. I merely asked that the order of draft be announced.
Every damn year. people say it's too soon to start and that I should lay off pressure. Berz had to finally start flogging people last year; and I'm not even talking about the loss of time, I'm talking about people waiting and it's either not noticed or not cared about.
I'm sorry to use you as an example, Tuber. I consider you a friend.
It doesn't take that much to pay attention to what's going on around you.
I sat and watched Tuber show up with b etor, Jonny, me, and Jaguar all here waiting. Not for him to show up, to make his pick.
One I could have made, or you could have made.

I'll use another example. Albert making his pick, then leaving for a day, when you're online.

You can whine about my whining all you want. Doesn't change facts.

There's the root of your problem. Jumping on the Vista bandwagon.

And yes, b etor. Backups can be any player. Better to have extra WR and RB if possible.
Then there's the viewpoint that it doesn't matter, because the waiver wire is there and you can trade your whole draft in for a new team.
Isn't that fun?

Waiver wire workers to the max.

It's picking up undrafted players and dropping one of your own. Replacing the player.

We've done 7 rounds in like a week... it'll be much less than forever .

b etor - backups should be, at a minimum:
1 QB
2 RB
2 WR
and then 2 anything, usually 1 DEF and one other. People vary on their opinions of what 'needs' a backup, and certainly the value differs based on what you'd be replacing it, but it is generally agreed that K definitely does not need a backup, TE probably dose not, and DEF may not also depending on how many draft. In the weeks your K or TE has off, just pick up someone random to replace them.
