all of these are 3 five minutes round, except title Liddel vs Jackson which is scheduled 5 fives minute rounds

Thats a fit individual to last that long.

I feel these are some of the most in shape fighters in the world, yet often 1-2 rounds in they are winded, oughta tell anyone just how much effort goes into these contests

No. All fights have 5 minute rounds. Championship fights go 5 rounds, while regular bouts go 3.

5 minutes comes from wrestling. 3 minutes isn't enough to let the grappling develop properly. Boxing happens in spans of a few seconds. Grappling takes longer.

I kinda like UFC, but I prefer boxing, mostly because I like seeing a fight go 12 rounds.
