Louisville changed conferences, Drake. The Big East gets a guaranteed BCS game. If they were still in C-USA, pretty doubtful they're in that game.

Re tonight -- Russell looks like the next Culpepper out there. A prototype pro QB -- tall, athletic, incredible arm, great feel for pocket pressure, quick release.

I don't know about that. Louisville had already earned a lot of credibility before they jumped to the Big East. And they earned it by beating top programs like Miami in non-conference games. That's what Boise State needs to do more of...

He ought to be. In the Arkansas game (LSU's closest), the one thing that killed us other than our special teams nightmare was Russell's ability to convert on third down seemingly at will.
