              Given that, apparently, there are even more foreigners in the French league than in the English league, maybe we should stick to English.

              Oh, and come the time to punish the Italians for their cheating in rucks, we could go with:

              Rugby - Hands off, Ragazzi!

              Ragazzi being the generic term for boys, chaps, lads, et al.

                  You should avoid Les Bleues and use Les Bleus instead. Or Blues, simply.

                  Wow... I'll try to translate that back into English to see how it would work... Something like:
                  Rugby - Hands over of the bowl, the blue girls!

                  Rugby - Laissez la balle, Bleus! would be better (leave the ball).

                  Boule is used solely for pétanque. As a plural, it translates like the plural of ball quite well, too. Une boule is a small, hard round thing, certainly not a rugby ball. You can call it la balle, la gonfle, le cuir (obsolete since this means leather) or some other words in various dialects, a pretty one being la bechigue.
                  So we might have "Rugby - Touchez plus la bechigue, Bleus!" (rugby - no longer touch the ball, blue) but I'll leave it to you what to use. Just avoid les Bleues, as we don't talk a lot about women rugby here.
