maybe their vehement reaction is due to the cultural proximity of the UK with the US. when you look too much in the beasts' eyes the beast looks back at you. or the abyss in this point.
linguistic proximity unfortunately does open up gates and that coupled with the general idea of a good part of the UK that they are europe's first cusines unfortunately opens up a slight crac in pandor'as box.

for example scandinavians can go learn soythern american dances (the cowboy hats and stuff ones) bnecause they have become deranged from living sub zero temps all the time but their social security never was at risk just becasue they could udnerstand dr phils broadcasting in english as their second language.

So, the more you think you are in danger of something, the more fanatical your reaction to it will be.

If you want to argue that some deaths are a net positive, you need to have way more information available about a person than some dumb **** they post on an old gaming website. Every person has connections they've made, loved ones they've cared for, good they've put into the world, etc. (except me, I suck total ass), and most of us know almost none of the particulars for anyone who's posted here. Assigning moral value to a person's death without any of that is gross negligence and cannot possibly reflect a considered, genuine stance about how the world should really be. Thus, you do it because it makes you feel good and wins you internet points, not because it's a good and moral and righteous thing to do.

It doesn't make me feel good. It's the height of disappointment in my own species that there is a glaring flaw which results in people ending up so hateful and destructive. And on top of that, the pure rank hypocrisy. They yell and scream and clutch their pearls when countered. Again, I refer you back to my earlier Voltaire quote - and I find it highly unlikely for them to be good people whilst being MAGA supporters...a healthy mentality just doesn't lead down that rabbit hole.
