“A REAL DISGRACE took place at the United Nations yesterday,” Trump wrote Wednesday in a 357-word social media chronicle of “Not one, not two, but three very sinister events!”

According to Trump, his smooth arrival at the summit in New York on Tuesday was disrupted when the escalator ferrying him and the first lady, Melania Trump, “stopped on a dime”. He expressed relief that the first couple “didn’t fall forward onto the sharp edges of these steel steps, face first”.

Then, when he took the green marble podium, his teleprompter went “stone cold dark”.

“I immediately thought to myself, “Wow, first the escalator event, and now a bad teleprompter. What kind of a place is this?’” Trump wrote. Adding insult to injury, he recounted a third alleged offense. After being forced to improvise part of his speech to the general assembly, he asked his wife how he had done, and she replied: “I couldn’t hear a word you said.”

“This wasn’t a coincidence, this was triple sabotage at the UN,” Trump declared, demanding an “immediate” investigation into the matter, a diplomatic incident so Trumpian it has earned the name “escalatorgate”.

Looks like the whole world is out to get him

I'm also concerned that the Secret Service allowed the first couple to be anywhere near those "sharp edges of these steel steps" in the first place.

One or two of those "very sinister events" in a row would be suspicious already, but THREE!

it is nice to see a master of petty reprisals have to put up with a few petty reprisals himself.

So far it looks like the escalator was stopped accidentally by Trump's videographer, the teleprompter was supposed to be operated by Trump's team, and Trump's wife is his wife.

I can state from personal experience that the teleprompter operator is ALWAYS a White House Communications Agency (WHCA) employee. They insist on it. That has been true since well before Donnieboy.

Maybe DOGE fired all of the operators?

Having to work for the man is enough to provoke reprisals.
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

With tRump, things are bound to escalate... he is the escalator.

This year's Nobel Prizes for Medicine have been announced, but nothing for Donald! VERY SINISTER again, as he already made clear how he deserves several actually:

The BBC asked Americans in Washington what they think the US president needs to do to earn the prestigious award.

I nominate his renaming of the Gulf of Mexico in the categoy of Literature, and his revolutionary ideas about the use of bleach in Chemistry.

Surely if he's getting a Nobel in Literature it should be for his Epstein birthday message.

So, since this is a pure evil thread, I don't think I'd be too far off to ask, if Canada, Australia, UK, etc. ask for copies of everything the US DOJ has on Epstein, to assure that none of our citizens are on the 'list', wouldn't our good ally, in the interest of Justice be required to send us unredacted files?
We've been sharing law enforcement and security info for decades.

                    Canadians quote Reagan! Trump outraged.

President Trump abruptly ended negotiations over an advert that used Ronald Reagan speaking negatively about tariffs.

Should tRump decree that a REAL World Series take place between, say the Utah 'Charlie Kirks' and the ICE All-Stars?
Currently, tRump has noted that LOSERS from California and Canada are playing...

Given how things develop on the tariff side I think Trump is more afraid of Canada than he's is of China

Probably because one day, Canada will rule the world...

America is going through a strange phase where Christians get mad if you quote Jesus, and the GOP melt down if you quote Reagan.
