worst thing IMHO about Trump and these riots is that deportations, legal or illegal of people residing in the US legally or illegally will *worsen* inflation and all of the other economic and fiscal damage he is inflicting as president. He claims his tariffs will pay off by creating jobs, but how can that work if labor is being deported in the face of a labor shortage? He claims his big beautiful bills massive deficit hikes will go away by the bill massively stimulating the economy but how can the economy even be maintained in the face of bad and rapidly worsening labor shortage? And of course there is generally only one way for inflation to go in response to a labor shortage.
So here we are watching a huge ugly riot unfold and the only reason the Feds have to provoke and maintain the unrest is a policy that will grossly aggravate the primary strategy the Trump administration has to F up the national economy. Incredible.Comment

You also have a party-run voting system open to abuse. Canada, for example, has Elections Canada, an independent organization that sets boundries, hires election staff, and handles tabulations.
If there is a close vote in a riding, a judicial recount takes place. Judges aren't elected in Canada, and not beholding to a party..

Even if we accept the worst of the autopen accounts at face value, at most it tells us that Biden was not competent to serve and that his staff exploited the autopen to complete tasks without his awareness. How can that ever be as bad as willfully trashing the US economy, US soft power, US strategic relations, US credit and financial security and the vast majority of state funded research all on a massive catastrophic scale? Impeachment for incompetence is a thing and surely Trump has earned it in his second term even more than Biden did in his first even if we accept all of the Autopen controversies at face value.Comment
