They shouldn't have put their country under Russian tanks. That was a poor decision on their part.

everything zelensky said in that ccringe fest was 100% true. A leader. An heroic figure, slapped the cluless little wanna be bullies around.
Trump destroyed NATO and spelled the end of the west as we know it from the end of 2ww.
He vastly overestimated the importance the US has and also destroyed whatever soul it ever had (or revealed its current one - sam,e thing)
the guy is completely unfit for the job and watching the other 2 random laughable freaks he had next to him was for laughs and cries

trump is a clown and he proves himself unrtustworthy and full of crap.
he has promised "hell" so many times to the mothers and children of the palestinians and what? did he deliver? no he can't do nothing more than what is being done already.
just as the palestinians withstood decades of unchained aggretion so would they now and long long after trumo is gone.
the situation in ukraine is similar. these are hard core realities. you can't play blackjack and change them...
trump is a lousy dealer but even if he was great at making deals (which he isn't , he's just the pathetic symptom of a system in deep rot) tht's just a part of what politics is about. it's not even the biggest one at all.
Russia can't occupy Ukraine and can't ethnic cleasne Ukraine either. The war is not over in 24 hours as trump claimed, he failed because he became the same face as the monster he's fighting.
USA is COMPLETELY discredited in the world stage now. It's not even funny.
He tried to blame zelensky for his failure and it might as well be putin he was talking, You couldn't tell the difference.

on his parth to competely demolish any virtue the US had on a world stage, he started by wanting the rare earths.
You're not participating in this war because you want lithjium for your mobile phones.
you do it because you understand that you represent people that want to operate in world made at least partially or striving to be based on principles.
Russia wants to completely control ukraine politically. that means it wants to have its puppet PM there just as it was done in the past. Ukranians are never going to accept it. Do you think claiming the US wants some lithium batteries is going to change anything?
THe only way yo appease authoritarians is to become like them. Then they are your buddies against the people and their rights. Trump is exactly the same as putin or erdogan or the chinese guy. That wouldn't be problem if he was excluded from many of the safwety architectures than are in place since the end of ww2. Now we're going through a crash course to do that. The US will be unrecognizale after that is done. Let's hope that that's not the case for other countries as well

russia doesn't care about a few acres of land or plunging more people in its authocratic vorteex.
it wants to be re-legitimized and re-included in the world stage and economy. and trump can't even for a minute give it that, on his own.
also if he wanted to kick zelensky out, he managed to roar his rating from around 58% to well over 75% in ukraine.
trump is an amazing moron.

A remarkable lesson in how to destroy any diplomatic credibility you have in a few short weeks. We've just seem the prologue, the consequences start to get real now. NATO is dead and buried in its current form, the rest of our European countries need to step up to support Ukraine in the absence of the US and I don't know about others here but I am at a point where I am trying to steer well clear of US products now wherever possible, and that is going to start to hurt if that is happening on a widespread global level.Speaking of Erith:

I wonder if the idiot realizes that once Europe has again it's own military, our leaders might find their balls back and start steering their own course. The orange one might not like this.
In the mean time : **** you too. Kick X, facebook and amazon out of the unified market. Hit his little friends where it hurts."Ceterum censeo Ben esse expellendum."

I have a freind who travaels a lot and he told me that russia/china have a whole digital "ecosystem" that spans ebverything the american oligarchs have and then some. it has every single thing. google maps, AI, social networking everything and is completely detached from the american companies.
I don't trust them but of course a complete ban of all american digital companies such as facebook etc should be on the table.
I think little trumpie is quickly realizing that he can't bullSh!t his way outside the borders of his country.
now basically russia and the US are on the same side. even if that's not complete, it is this way i n the mind of the average person and that counts way more than trumpie signing more sanctions against russia.
also trumpie is getting very quickly discredited for two reasons: he says things that he doesn't do (be that threats or promises)
he lies and it is very easy to see through his lies and is corrected by a lot of PMs.
the charade in the whiote house was very cringe worthy and screamed ineptitude from the team that leads the US. Also it was disgusting for a lot of people

Playing with alignment to China would be playing with fire, but conceivable, for Europe if it were wanting to counterbalance a future hostile US.One day Canada will rule the world, and then we'll all be sorry.

How much net harm has Trump realized *to countries other than the US* with his betrayals so far? How much less likely will the boycotts make further harm by Trump? I just can't envision any way that any good for any party comes from the boycotts apart from Europe's enemies and, I admit, good to the enemies of the US as well. Sure, enemy of my enemy is my friend, but it doesn't pay to help the enemy of your enemy when they are also your enemy and it's obviously stupid when it helps some of your enemies that aren't necessarily even enemies of your enemy besides.
All Trump has done is threaten to help Russia against Ukraine and massively increase US tariffs to stupidly try to balance US trade. I would truly detest everything about his presidency for any betrayal of Ukraine alone but at the moment Trump has been massively more helpful to Ukraine than the overwhelming majority of countries in the world. The boycotts would make sense when he starts to carry out the threats against ukraine. These countries should be offering united ultimatums of their own. The boycott will only make all of the harm worse.
