"Trump is following a playbook written for him by Christian White Nationalists."
Thorn asked for a stop to threadjacking of his thread but this certainly got my attention. I'm interested in learning more about how Christian white nationalists wrote a playbook for Trump to follow. Is this a playbook written in the 19th century? Are self described "Christians"still advocating genocide?Tags: None

Project 2025 is the lite version of how to gain control and remove/circumvent checks and balances. Watch the hidden camera of Russ Vaught (now OMB) talk about how there's a more in depth plan that hasn't been made public.
60% of Trump's executive orders are straight out of Project 2025. 6 of his current cabinet worked on it. Clearly Trump was lying when he tried to distance himself from it during the campaign.
What they will do once they tear down the checks and balances is a deeper story.

Trump isn't a White Nationalist or Christian (of any sort). But he craves being worshipped, and he gets it from those groups.
They wrote this playbook for him in the hope he can bring about a Christian theocracy that at "worst" (for them) is predominantly white. Now, maybe he's too incompetent to do so, or maybe there's enough spine left in Congress and the courts, or the US populace, to stop him, but that's the road he's chosen to follow.

Well, the headline is dumber than dog ****. I didn't bother to read beyond the title but I think we all know what ever we need to know.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

Ethnic cleansing. Which they assure us will be done in the nicest way possible.Originally posted by Geronimo View Post

Trump is on TV every day advocating for the complete ethnic cleansing of Gaza. Offering to oversee (and presumably profit from) it.

I suggest you are not an intelligent person. It is already destroyed, the terrorists did this, so moving refugees from a destroyed area to some where which isn't destroyed is a good thing I am not allowed to invite you to commit suicide but there is a gun and maybe you can copy the Japanese?Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

You say that as if White Christian Nationalists were notably competent people. I guess by comparison to Trump, sure, maybe some of them, but that's not saying much.

These political discussions seldom ever hinge on intelligence. They hinge on what we are prepared to believe. I'm not ready to dismiss out of hand every ape**** crazy idea, action or statement attributed to Trump after the surreally whacky crap he's already literally signed off on this term. Any idea that calls for forcibly evicting native-born populations en-masse is whacky or evil or both. take your pick. It is literally the definition of the major form of ethnic cleansing.Originally posted by Dinner View PostI suggest you are not an intelligent person. Trump has "accomplished" more in the first month than his whole Presidency last time around.Originally posted by Elok View PostYou say that as if White Christian Nationalists were notably competent people. I guess by comparison to Trump, sure, maybe some of them, but that's not saying much.
DEI is gone. Most diversity hires are being fired (no merit checks in said firings). USAID is gone. Most research funding is cut off or no longer funded at viable rates. IRS (at least the big business division) is neutered. EPA gutted. Dep Ed looks like it's cooked.
No real push back from anyone in his party yet.
He's got a lot done.
