I definitely agree with this. As I've said in the other threads There is literally no way for DEI by itself to be a major cause of an accident like this. Any investigation that starts there is clearly driven by bias and related politics.

I also want to avoid giving the impression however, that DEI, especially poorly constructed DEI, cannot be a minor component of competency issues. I think most reasonable people can see why this would be true. If anyone disagrees that might be a worthy discussion to air out.

From a friend I know in the area, it was probably not military, but a blackhawk operated by the Secret Service to transport VIPs to various points in and around DC; they use military identification to confuse potential bad actors, and typically communicate on a seperate frequecy from civilian aircraft for security reasons, which is why neither the controller nor other pilots could hear them. Since there haven't been any suddenly missing VIPs, it may have been going in for maintenance.
