In the US, the ones in charge are assassinated by those who oppose them. Elsewhere, the ones who oppose them are assassinated by the person in charge.

Well, read again your own definition then, because I don't see a real difference, except that "Democracy" pretends to live without murdering (while in fact being the greatect murderer of all times) and "Authoritarian" often advances its nation without murders, but still fall a victim of democratic lies.​
