FWIW, I like it a lot, and it has pretty much replaced Civ 6 for me.

It wasn't nearly as good as the classic board game (one of the best board games of all time if you have plenty of friends and a day to spare). It was entertaining the couple of times I played (during a period in time where I played games once or twice a month).
