    Russians currently have the initiative and have been gaining ground. They ran from the battlefield for a few months but several months of Republicans blocking aid to Ukraine has allowed Russia to completely reverse that momentum.

      They may be gaining ground for now... but troops are still deserting. Some of the Russian soldiers are running with the tails between their legs.
      Not the Americans... since they aren't even there. Only in Serb's wet dreams are non existent soldiers fleeing.
