France wouldn't give us the launch codes so we had to hack them

The invasion was a last-ditch attempt at boosting popularity by the genocidal dictatorship we had in power though.

If it wasn't for the military government, there wouldn't have been a war and the islands would very probably be under Argentine sovereignty by now (to their chagrin), but now that will never happen.

The missile that hit and caused HMS Sheffield to sink didn't explode.

This was a momentous moment in Naval History as it pretty much spelled the end of aluminum as a major building material on warships.

Ironically, the burning rocket engine caused the aluminum to catch on fire. An exploding warhead may not have done that. Of course, anyone who has burned an aluminum drink can would realize that building a warship with that material would make it incredibly vulnerable to hot fires.

Are you basically saying it was thermite?

Thermite would have require iron as well. But, once aluminum gets going, it is pretty hot (not as hot as thermite) and very difficult to put out.

I think it is actually aluminum and ammonium perchlorate (so yes?) but not positive that is what is used on an exocet.
