I thought this might have been the case until Serb revealed that he was part of a paramilitary organization. Then I realized that he is an all in war criminal. I had hoped that underneath all the bellicose stupidity that there might be a decent person...but, alas, it seems I was wrong.

Calling him a war criminal seems a bit much especially since he said he has a heart condition which is life threatening. That means he isn't going any where near a war zone much less committing war crimes in said war zone. I do think he has bought into the Russian state media narrative which only tells people things the Putin dictatorship wants spread.

That last bit is disappointing but perhaps understandable if a person is literally in a propaganda echo chamber without access to independent media. This is why the unconstitutional attempts by the Dems and the Biden admin to create a Ministry of Truth and to censor social media are so dangerous. Any government which has the power to censor will censor and lie for political reasons thus none should ever be allowed to have such power.

Serb's not a war criminal as long he does not actively participate in war crimes. Otoh his posts here pretty much supported various kinds of atrocities.

That may be just typical intarwebb blabbering - or just not, he could as well really be cool with it. However, things are kinda difficult when we'd need to take him seriously when he sez he has medical conditions, but not when he says he's cool with nuking foreign capitals. Or when he sez Russia is winning in 3 days, then comes back with a day 9 map, and still tells us after 8 months into the war that Russia is basically invicible

Think of it as one of the stages of grief before he finally accepts reality. He is in the denial and lashing out stage but it is all just blabbering on the internet which ultimately doesn't harm anyone.

I thought this as well until he revealed that he is part of a paramilitary organization. Imo, the entire Russian military should be held accountable due to the widespread nature of the war crimes. I do admit that there is no evidence of Serb having committed any atrocities himself, but guilty by association he is.

It is clear the Russian government ordered war crimes to be committed thus why war crimes have been systematic state policy B Russia. They did the exact same thing in Syria as well so there is a pattern. BTW when did Serb say he was in a paramilitary organization and what exactly is its name and what does it do? If it is just Boris and Sergay going out in the woods and playing fake soldier than who cares? If it is something that orders war crimes or carries out war crimes then, yes, that is totally different.

BTW have you seen the recent Bellingcat (an open source nonprofit which documents war crimes and preserves evidence for future prosecutions) report on the Russian government group which programs missile flight paths and target destinations? They exposed actual Russian war criminals and they've been doing it over and over for the last eight years.
