Dear drunken clown, have you ever thought it might be time to stop drinking and get the psychological help you so desperately need? Also, if you stopped lying about other people you might improve yourself as a person. Best of luck to you.

I never said you were. Only that your demographic is shrinking.

        • Oil depot or something in Crimea was hit by a 'suicide' drone. A few days ago Nuland said Crimea was a valid target. Was she warning Russia? The US (and our puppets ) is walking a tight rope between making Russia bleed and Russia getting mad enough to attack us. Its largely theater, while this is going on Russia and the US are working together on space missions.

If I was Ukraine I wouldn't be happy about Nuland telling Russia Crimea is a target before launching an attack on it.

            to the last Ukrainian

        • Crimea, as an internationally recognized part of Ukraine, has always been a legitimate target.

Another 80,000 Russian soldiers have been wounded in fighting since December, the White House estimates.

Which is irrelevant to Nuland's recent warning to Russia. She's not worried about international legitimacy, if anything she was worried about how Russia would respond. So its legitimate for Ukrainians to bomb Ukrainians, was is legitimate for Saddam to bomb Iraqis too?

Why do you consider it legitimate for Russians to bomb what Putin calls Russians? Berz? Hello? Please quote a very good source that no-one here has heard of.

The government Ukrainians voted for was overthrown in a coup 8 years ago and Ukrainians who rejected the coup were attacked by Nazis with our backing. I believe our victims have the moral high ground and Putin is defending them. This invasion would not have happened if A) Trump won, and B) there was no 8 year long war in the Donbas backed by Nato.

There we go with the fake coupe lies again. Yes, people protested a corrupt government and the corrupt president fleed to his daddy in Moscow but he was legally removed according to the constitutionally mandated process. So, please explain how the parliament following the constitutional process for removing a corrupt President is somehow a "coupe".

              Fun stuff in there:

Mr Prigozhin also called upon the Russian media and military leadership to "stop lying to the Russian population" ahead of an expected Ukrainian spring counteroffensive.

"We need to stop lying to the Russian population, telling them everything is all right," he said.

He praised the Ukrainian military's "good, correct military operations" and command

The US has done nowhere near as much provocation as the Soviet union did in Korea or Vietnam.

                • Careful, Rabbit's on the lookout for whataboutism... What does your comment have to do with what I said? My post was about Nuland's warning to Russia shortly before Ukraine attacked Crimea. The USSR no longer exists, the US has provoked its way to empire.

Yes. Because only a conspiracy theorist adherent would even think that was a reasonable hypothesis.

Whataboutism is about moral equivalency. I'm simply observing that the level of US provocation represented by Ukrainian liberation of Crimea is no greater than has been seen in other proxy wars.

                  • Whataboutism is about hypocrisy, it's what Jesus did to the Pharisees.

Did Nuland warn Russia of a coming attack?

The USSR provoked the US in Korea and Vietnam

                    huh?

I'm unconcerned about the US provoking Russia through supporting Ukraine even when it deoccupies Russian occupied Ukraine just as I accept PRC and USSR materially supporting Vietnam and korea and later Russia supporting Syria were not provocation amounting to any act of war against the US.

What does your comment have to do with my theory? Who provoked whom and when is irrelevant to what I said. I didn't say Nuland was provoking Russia, I said she was letting them know Crimea was a target for a reason, 'controlled escalation'.

                    • Berz, your Nuland comment was a convenient deflection, not addression the Dinner post you were quoting.
It happens a lot. Increasingly, in my view. Just an observation.

I'm really just hoping for a little more cohesion in the thread. Makes for easier reading.
