Learn to read... Your great "story" says he won't be charged with possessing a gun In ILLINOIS. And since they can't prove he actually had the gun while in Illinois, it makes total sense.
However, one more time... one of the charges he faces in Wisconsin where he is actually on trial...
POSSESSION OF A DANGEROUS WEAPON BY A PERSON UNDER 18
Rittenhouse was armed with an AR-style semiautomatic rifle. He was 17 years old on the night of the shootings. Wisconsin law prohibits minors from possessing firearms except for hunting.
The charge is a misdemeanor punishable by up to nine months behind bars.

What part of "Can't prove" don't you get? You think that's a fact? What a joke. Stop wasting my time. When you want to tell us why you said that he broke the law I will be interested if you answer honestly for once. I could play your stupid games all day but not going to.I drank beer. I like beer. He broke the Wisconsin law on fire arm possession by a minor.
What "facts" are you disputing/denying?
He was a minor, and he had a gun. Those are facts
The Wisconsin law is a fact as well.
The only one playing stupid games is you. I was stating facts. And you seem to be having a problem with people that actually state facts instead of just making BS up all the time like you do.Keep on Civin'
