I've just returned from a motorcycling/camping trip of ~ 500 km/day daily maximums ranging between 10 and 17 C with wind and rain. Of course wind chill on a motorcycle is quite high. The fifth from the right was usually enough.

Just to clarify, degrees F, YMMV. For me, lower 40s is tee shirt weather, although with enough wind that can go to high 50s.

Earlier this year temps were around 0F, I actually switched out my fleece for my bomber jacket.

The longest hottest (eh) heat wave I remember., non stop for a week and it will be another week.
If the weather was not dry we'd be angels now.

It's 10 in the morning and it is seethingly hot.

I spend ALL of my day at the beach and at night I sleep with A/C

at the beach (and evem more so at the islands) it is perfect weather. the breeze and the shade next to the sea are great. And the sea temperature is great.

At the temperature a dry heat is much better than being cold. I find it is humidity that is really unpleasant. For example, Alice Springs in central Australia has very little humidity whereas Sydney on the east coast has humidity. A temperature that is pleasant in Alice Springs may be horrible in Sydney.

Yeah, humidity is the worst, also with cold. I found the constant -5°C in Sweden totally fine, while 1°C in Paris was harder to keep warm.

With heat, as you say, in Argentina my uncle lives in the north west, and it regularly gets up to 35°C or more, but it's less annoying than 28-30 in Buenos Aires, where it's bound to be 70% humidity (and also only cool very little during the night, which makes it get much more saturated ugh)

when I was in Finland last week we had nice 25 °C there ... now that I am back home in germany, we have even nicer 20-25 °C ... while Finland sweats with hot 29°C.

I'm not a very old fart but there never was such hellishly hot weather and for so many days for as long as I have lived in Greece
