Young kids copy what they see and hear. Whether they believe it or not.

I don’t believe Pepe has created a generation of sexual predators and rapists (or probably any), because most people would have had a morally responsible upbringing. People who behave that way would have a hard time convincing me it was Pepe’s fault.

The bigger problem with Pepe, for me, is that girls who are assaulted in this way may have thought there is no reason to speak up - they have to live with it - because they are not taught otherwise, no one called it out and stories like these from harmless cartoons were their only reference point.
