Would I let my kids watch Pepe? No. Would I let my kids watch a lot of things with bad messaging? No. Do I find Pepe entertaining? No. If they want that character in Space Jam, acting in his trademark way, then I won't be watching it with my kids, but I wouldn't demand it be banned either.
I don't think Pepe is a 'victim' (he's not even a real person) of cancel culture. I think he's a poor role model and WB are well served by retiring him from entertainment targetted at kids.
I would be tempted to go and watch Pepe be handed his arse to him by Penelope and a few cops for commiting what is a clearly a criminal offence.

My take on Pepe is that children are able to understand that his behaviour is ridiculous and annoying and will end in negative consequences for himself.
That is a good message for children.
