Looks okay at 55x45. Reasonable for the occasional novelty smilie.

The rocket launch needs the tall by the nature of the thing, and the unicorn looks like it won't take any more reducing...

I love how Ming appears to be saying something - and it isn't thank you.

So there's a rumor on the internet that I'm against things taking up any topspace they don't have to. Well, this charmer that I put Ming on was 103 pixels tall. I have reduced it to 69. You're welcome.

...I think I've got a greatly-reduced version of the Speer puppy punking somewhere...

Hmmm. I've got multiple good BE images that might make decent smilies...

You are good to **** on my work w/ nothing positive to say about any of the rest.

I looked for a lol and didn't find it then; I'll plonk my effort now, as you're correct that it's inferior.

EDIT: Done. -However, this is not inferior but it is large and not in the (crappy 90s) house style...

I spent some time this morning working on AC2, my own forum -hard to believe, I know- doing similar arranging the taller smilies at the bottom.

It's different there, 'cause there's a row over the Reply page, and the rest go into a popup, so not as important to organize. The way arranging order in SMF is easier/more efficient than having to number them in the vB admin cp here, and man, I carved about half off the scrolling...

    ---
In other news, I had another go at danceparty.gif, and it's now down to 48 pixels tall. Take that, Dale. Also trimmed seven pixels to 45. Both reasonable now.

Any input about the order of the top row? Any favorites (of the short 15x) you'd like showing by default under the reply box?

Sure. With the slouch hat? I got that somewhere - take me longer to find than install.

WE DEMAND OUR WHITE SPACE BACK!

You are wantonly destroying Poly conventions established over 20 years ago.

See, I knew this would happen. Give him a key, and he trashes the place like he owns it.

    Whoa.
I noticed sure was taking up a lot of vertical space - it was 118x80, reduced to 99x70 by simply cropping empty space. The thing was still a huge land-hog, so I took the time to move the lowest partier and the balloon inward and got it down to 99x59. -Filesize's down by .17kb, too. Now the whole category is onscreen at once when you open the smiles menu.

    You're welcome.

Oh for petes sake. This was looking mighty low on the line, and when I opened it up --- a 60x40 .gif that needed only 57x16. Siiigh. -Otherwise decently animated and now fixed.
