My two weeks stay in a hospital was quite a shock for myself (because I have never been to hospital before). I didn't expect we are SO good!

Our life expectancy is about 6 years longer than yours because we pay more. You pay less, and you get less, and it costs you 6 years of your life.

We pay 16% of our income to health care. With that we have freedom to choose our heath care plan and we have excellent health care.

Yes that's too high, but our doctors etc get paid well.

Salaries is a one thing GDP is another!
The GDP is not about the salaries at all, silly. It's a summ of all products and services produced by a country, but not a summ of salaries paid to employees!

I am telling you how much a regular Russian citizen "pays" to have a real healthcare and you are telling me about GDP.
For a regular Russian citizen it's 3.2% of its salary monthly. Period.
Plus everyone of us pays a 13% flat tax every month. And that is basically all the taxes an individual pays to a state.
How a state manage those taxes after that - doesn't really matter for a regular citizen when it comes to his access to medicine.
If you make a 1 000 000$ or 1 000$ a month - you still pay 3.2% of your salary and have the same guaranteed level of medicine.
