True, the media Ds do it more but you also see it with the SJWs who alienate everyone pretty much universally and Dem politicians do opportunisticly hop on the bandwagon whenever it suits them. They need to clearly state that all racism is bad, no matter who is being racist, stop minimizing and excusing anti-white racism, and start expelling and shunning nonwhite racists as well as white racists.

It would also help if they would stop claiming everyone who disagrees with them is somehow a racist and a Nazi because that troupe is stale, doesn't effect the change they want to see, and only alienates white voters even more. Or they can keep doing what they have been doing and then wondering why even clowns like Trump beat them. The choice is theirs.

I think that the focus on anti-white racism is ridiculous and harmful. And there are a lot of racists out there (small r and big R, and the small r ones are some of the problem).

However, it might be more effective and better to have (For example) a pro-justice reform movement that is a combination of BLM and other movements instead of making it only about BLM. I can give many many examples of injustice against white people just like I can against black people, and the focus on injustice (as long as black people are not left out) is both better and more likely to be successful (with broad support).

Are you saying there are racist because they voted for Trump or something, or do they actually vote Republican because they hate black people?

I don't think he was saying to focus on anti-white racism. The Republicans don't do that either. He's saying not to appear to be ok with racism against white people.

                • The Republicans are the ones that actually need "identity politics" the most. If everyone votes based on economic concerns, the rich end up paying more taxes. So Republicans will always bring up social issues, regardless of whether Democrats acknowledge them (thus winning more support, in terms of donations and voter turnout, from people who would otherwise get trampled by the Republicans) or try to ignore it.

Has anyone figured out what the Civil War was about, or is it still a mystery? I remember Trump pontificating on this once...

That way they can sneak into women's washrooms... the GOP are obsessed with this!

                        • It is amazing to see that Orange County’s 7 congressional districts all went to Democrats. This was the land of Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, and John Wayne.

I am advocating for color blindness and stopping the singular obsession about race which the American left has. Race based "solutions" such as quotas and half a dozen other things currently pushed by the left simply alienate the majority of voters and push them to vote for the GOP. Republicans know this thus why their media constantly highlights this.

The solution is for Dems to stop doing it. Don't give the other side the ammo.

Sensible justice reform is a great idea but teaming up with BLM is toxic because the organization and many, many of its members are blatantly racist. That would only further the GOP's claims I spoke about earlier (and thus accelerate white voters migrating to the GOP). Like it or not Dems need those white voters in swing states so they have to care about what they think.
