I don't see women as any more 'alien' than men.

      That's because you're the alien.

I wish I knew more about philosophy. When I was young I thought philosophy was pure BS, intellectual masturbation.
With old age and a few conference hearings, I think there might be something in it.
Unfortunately, being a complete ignorant on the topic, I'm unable to agree or disagree with anything that is said. Or to follow anything that is above the wikipedia level.

As a heterosexual man, I'm interested in women. Men could be as mysterious or obvious as they want and I still don't care.

Men only consider women mysterious because women pretend that men aren't.

How can he know what it’s like to post on Apolyton if he doesn’t do it?

There are an infinite number of things Im glad I don’t know. And a few that I wish I didn’t.

Well, same here, but I try to talk in the near to medium term, because otherwise all my posts would just end with "...the ever-expanding, all-consuming, telepathic techno-blob."

Easy enough to say, but do you have a book on wastewater management that you flip through occasionally, just because? I do.
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.
