On the topic of space and expanding, I really enjoyed Netflix’s “Expanse”. Easily the most realistic sci fi series I’ve watched ...
      Spoiler:
even with the whole alien lifeform merges with hot chick and asteroid then dodges the Mormon battering ram/temple.

how many seasons are there? My daughter signed on while home for the holidays so we're connected. Stranger things is underwhelming. (we're half way through season 2) Ok, but expected a lot better from how many have been gushing about it. Will I be underwhelmed with expanse?

2 so far. I've enjoyed the show quite a bit, but I think S1 was stronger than S2.

Sorry for the spoilers, I thought most who would be interested would have seen it by now. It’s a great show. The characters are really well done. I agree with Lori that season 1 was better, but 2 was still good.

The one good thing about being old is that when people tell you something that might be considered a spoiler, you forget about it by the time you get around to watching the show.

Watched episode 1 last night with Ming. We'll see if later episodes can keep me interested. I couldn't find it on Netflix but we found some copies.
