Not murder. Don't falsely accuse people of murder. You yourself said that he reached for his shorts.
I didn't accuse him of murder, I said the SC cop was a murderer and he was convicted of it

Fact is that the rate of policemen killing people is extremly high in the USA compared to othr western nations:

Part of the difference surely can be attributed to the 2nd amendment:

But part of this may also be attributed with the fact that US-Policemen have an easier time to get away with killings or other crimes without having to face consequences. .
For the one because often it is their colleagues are the ones who examine the killings:

For the other thing, because it seems like it is enough if the officer can believable claim he felt threatened (no matter whether the threat was real or not), in order to justify killed people:

      Source of quotes: https://www.vox.com/policy-and-polit...-daniel-shaver

I am quite sure that most other western nations also would judge whether the degreee of force use was necessary or not.

      Example in the Shaver-case:
In a german court, even if Brailford were able to convince the judges that he sincerely believed that Shaver wuld draw a weapon, his defense would fall apart as soon s he would have to explain to the judges, why he fired a full burst of 5 shots into the man (and not a single shot into the arm/shoulder ... or just like the other poliemen would have waited if Shaver really drew a weapon)

The "finaler Rettungsschuss" (= deliberate use of deadly force b policemen) is only allowed in germany if the lives of police men or bystanders is objectively threatened ... in case of Shaver that would have been only the case if Shaver actually had drawn a pistol ... not because one of the policemen believed that he could possibly draw a weapon.

I am also sure that german judges would also take into account the whole situation:
Especially the fact that there were 6 policemen pointing their guns at Shaver ... and the fact that, even if he had drawn a weapon, there would have been enough time to shoot Shaver between the time he drew his weapon and the time where he actually would have been able to bring the weapon forward, aim at a policeman and pull the trigger
You haven't answered my question. Nor worth a damn.

I didn't say the shooting was necessary. I said that it wasn't murder, or even terrorism.

I never claimed it was murder or terrorism ... AFAIK you brought the claims that it was murder or terrorism into the discussion
(even a german court would surely not claim it was murder .. but very probably come to the conclusion that it was manslaughter)

I know. Your laws are ****ed. I can't even criticize Islamism in your country without getting fined or thrown in jail. Rapists get off because according to their culture raping nonmuslims isn't wrong.

Manslaughter is intending to kill someone unlawfully in this country. Which is not the case.

So are you going to tell me why you asked, "What is wrong with cops?"

I don't ask what is wrong with all cops ... just certain cops, like Brailford.
5 cops didn't see a necessity to fire at the man when he reached for his waistband.
Only Brailford ... and then not a single shot with the Glock that he was issued as a policeman, but rather a full burst from his private AR-15, so as to ascertain that his victim surely gets killed and not just wounded.

5 cops did the right thing ... Brailford not ... a father of 2 is dead because of this

I don't think he intended to kill. We give police the benefit of the doubt in these cases. We don't try to get into their head. That's a bad system in such a cop hating society such as yours. Also, you like to get into terrorists heads, and imagine that they did it because Trump moved the US embassy to Jerusalem or something.

If he did't intend to kill, why then did he have his AR-15 on Burst fire and aimed at the body (and not, for example, at he arm) ... Brailfords victim was just ~3 meters from him ... no problem at this distance, to get an aimed shot into an extremity (or the shoulder).
He clearly aimed at his Torso, considering the majority of entrance wounds (see the Autopsy):

Also, if Brailford didn't intend to kill the man, why didn' he (after shooting him) immediatly go there and check if he is still alive (and maybe try to administer first aid)? ... nope, he just cold blooded stepped over the lump of flesh that was, just seconds ago, a living breathing being, obviously not actully caring about the fact that he just shot someone

(also look at the sequence in the Vox-Video at 4:25-4:27 ... the victims hand goes to the waisband, he gets yelled at by the policeman to stop it ... and actually is compliant, as he moves his arm to the ground again ... one moment later Brailford fires his weapon)

Also, we (and not only we, but also other european countries) train our policemen better ... our training is longer than the training for US policemen and encompasses not only weapons training, but especially psychology and deescalating measures (they also get taught that their pistol (or the SMGs they occasionally get handed) is a necessary tool of their trade that should peferably remain unused ... and not a penis replacement)

Here is a nice article about the differences between european (and canadian) police forces and he US one:
                  https://www.csmonitor.com/World/2015...many-countries

And here a shorter version that uses the above article as a source:
                  https://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/...n_7709638.html

And another one, that delves deeper into the reason why US cops kill more people per year, than the police forces of all european countries taken together:

Nope he didn't ... they got a report that someone was sticking a rifle out of a window (which AFAIK isn't illegal in california) ... there was nothing that suggeested that said rifle actually was being used.
Also it was clear that a rifle would be a little bit too large in order to stick on his waistband ... and even if he had a pistol in his waistband the victim would have needed at least anothr 2-3 seconds in order to bring it to the front and shoot at someone ... more than enough time in order to be able to wait for an actual confirmation that there is a weapon in his hands, before shooting

The SWAT team does not respond to people sticking a rifle out of the window, unless it is a possible terrorist or something. You are just spreading anti-cop propaganda. At the same time you expect us to believe that you support your own police. Only a person like you would expect the officer to wait to see if he was pulling a weapon out. We don't expect that in the US. He shouldn't have been sticking a fake gun out of the window, and he shouldn't have reached for his shorts. STOP BLAMING POLICE!

Yep, that is why in the USA you had more than 1100 people killed by police in 2015.
Whereas germany, in the same year only had 10 people killed by police
