Study finds the white voters were more likely to vote for Trump because of the Culture War, not economic hardship.

I do not think we have ever had a president as anti-American as Trump.

At least if you define American as respecting freedom, rule of law and democracy.

I have to admit one thing, however:
Trump is a great entertainer. I have never followed the US politics as intensely as durings Trumps presidency.
Watching Trumps government is like watching a soap opera

I am glad, however, that I don't have to live in the country governed by Trump

            True.
            I follow Trumps tweet.
It is fake news, but it is entertaining

I have never watched Rachel Maddow. I mean his firing of Comey and so on. His executive actions on immigration and so on. His and his family treating the presidency primarily as a tool to gain personally.

I primarily read The Atlantic, Economist, 538 and Bloomberg. Note that two of those are generally considered rightwing and another one is considered neutral.

Nothing that you mentioned means that he doesn't believe in freedom, the rule of law, and democracy. I can't believe that I have to tell a scientist that. You're pathetic.

It's the bigots causing the mistrust and division. Immigrants generally don't move to a country they hate.

This is your problem, when you say "the bigots" somehow in your fantasy world "the bigots" are everyone you disagree with, and no one that you don't agree with. You just continue to use this logical fallacy just like you did when you said there wouldn't be another terrorist attack and there was an attack the next day. Then you said that you just said that there wouldn't be an attack so that other people would not think you were an islamophobe.

                            • The US should have secured it's borders after 9-11. I give Bush a big part of the blame for that.

How many islamist terror attacks on US soil have been perpetrated by people who immigrated(/were accepted with refugee status) into the USA after 2001?
