Yes... we do have Trump as president. But many people voted for him because Hillary was a terrible candidate (lesser of two evils) or simply wanted change in Washington.
His victory does NOT mean that the majority of Americans are racist or mysogenic.

The majority of Americans actually care about their fellow human beings... and Hillary (as bad as a candidate as she was) still got many more votes than the Trumpster.

Well, 45% of the Americans who went out to vote didn't care enough about their fellow human beings to avoid putting someone like Trump in charge. You can't on one hand claim to have avoided to total disarter that was Clinton but on the other hand deny responsibility for the catastrophe that is Trump.

BTW, I do think this is a fundamental problem of a lot of countries, not just the US. It is just that it happened to you first.

First... only 58% of eligible voters actually voted.
Second... to claim that everybody that voted for Trump didn't care enough for their fellow human beings is just an opinion. Some simply wanted a change, and some were voting their pocket books (and how will that work out for them ) And yes, some thought Hillary would be worse than Trump.
Third... of those that did vote, Hillary got far more votes.

So I stand by my opinion based on the above that the majority of Americans actually do care about their fellow human beings.

And again for the record, I'm a moderate Republican, and while I did vote, I didn't vote for either of the major party candidates, because they both sucked

Kid, out of three... moderate Repub, conservative Repub... Altright nut job, you fit the latter best. Disagree? Make your case.
But almost everybody here already knows the answer, so we await your probably moronic and silly response.

One of the big reasons why he got elected was SJWs.

Actually, while anyone can discriminate, only men can be sexist and only whites can be racist. At least in western society. This is simply because white men are in a position of power over women and PoCs overall. So yes, a white person telling a joke about a black person is much different than a black person telling a joke about a white person. The consequences and meaning behind the jokes are different because each person is in a different place of power. Sure a white person may have to face being called a racist, but the black person has to worry about losing a job or a life. That white people are so sensitive to being shown even the smallest of their racist behaviors demonstrates that there is no equality. Contrary to the belief of many white people, the historical consequences of centuries of brutal white oppression didn't disappear after the United States' Civil Rights movement.

I don't look at who voted for him since I agree that many voted for him just because he wasn't Hillary, but I do look at his approval rating. Last time I heard he still has around a 35% approval rating. I would figure that most of those 35% are the ones we should be worried about.

I can kind of agree with that. Especially if I lived in the US. I guess the same would apply in here though.

I actually agreee with Dannubis here.
If you vote for a candidatte you actually are among those who are responsible for the things he does (at least if it was already foreseeable at the time of election).
So, people who voted for Trump in protest against Hillary are as responsible for him trying to get rid of Obamacare (and replacing it with a worse system) as people who voted for him because they actually want to get rid of Obamacare.

It is similar to people here in germany voting for AfD as a protest against established parties (like CDU or SPD) ... if AfD actually gets to power and then sucessfully establishes a racist legislation in germany, then these voters are as responsible as people who voted for AfD because they actually are racists themselves.

(Similar all turkish people who vote with "Yes" in Erdogans Referendum will be equally responsible if he wins and then turns Turkey into an islamist autocracy. It doesn't actually matter why they voted with "Yes" )

The question is... was it actually foreseeable. Yes, one could say that the voters got what they saw in the campaign. But some thought he would replace Obamacare with something better. In reality, he did "promise" a better system. Granted, the eventual replacement bill was a piece of crap, but if people took him at what he said during the campaign, one might have expected a far better replacement.

The bill that was presented was not what he promised. So I don't buy your argument.
Yes, we all know that campaign promises are just that... promises. But some people voted for him in hopes of him actually doing what he said he would.

I admit that you are right there ... seems like there were people who strange enough actually believed his promises.
Like the guitar player who had lost his son due to drugs and spent all of his money in following Trump on sevral of his campaign stations.
And then fell off from Trump, when (after the election) Trump actually decreased the money for Anti Drug Campaigns/Drug infomation/rehabilitation

Maybe we can just accuse a large part of the Trump voters of being extremly gullible
(at least unless they voted Trump because of his muslim ban promises)

I thought most trump voters did it as a way of saying f*** you to Washington and the entire political system.
