It is still pretty good but it has definitely gone down hill since it decided to allow in several hundred thousand welfare migrants faking as refugees who have no skills, are unemployable, who have no intention of either working or integrating, who just want free stuff, and who spend much of their time simply committing crimes. Including an inordinate amount of violent crimes including rape, arson, and armed robbery.

The good news is that technology is coming to the rescue to help identify the fake refugees, who are over 90% of the illegal alien migrants, hell, even most of the Syrians who arrived are not even refugees but upper middle class people who had money to pay organized crime smugglers who were from safe areas.

The fact is that Sweden has gone through a transformation from a low crime rate country into a above average crime rate country using other western european countries for comparison. And violent crime rates for many categories has increased in recent years.
