The bronze Fearless Girl statue was placed on 8 March to draw attention to gender inequality and the pay gap in the corporate world.

The creator of the Bull statue seems to be not very happy about it ... according to him the presence of the girl statue changes the meaning of his Bull, which he sees as a Symbol for the USA, Prosprity and Strength.

The whole "fearless girl" thing is kind of funny; it is advertising disguised as inept art. That fits New York to a T.The dogmas of the quiet past, are inadequate to the stormy present. The occasion is piled high with difficulty…we will be remembered in spite of ourselves… The fiery trial through which we pass, will light us down, in honor or dishonor, to the last generation… We shall nobly save, or meanly lose, the last best hope of earth.
