I would assume that the republicans in the congress were elected for a multitude or reasons.
Some ppeople may have voted republican because they "always vote republican", some because they especially trusted this certain congressman over its democrat competitor (to stannd in for their interests) ... some may have voted for their GOP conresman because he shares the same anti LGBT sentiments as oneself .. or because he is in ones home parish ... and yes, some actually may have voted for their GOP congressman because they actually want to have Obamacare repealed.

The question is, how many (in percent) voters of GOP congressmen actually wannted to have Obamacare repealed/replaced.
The other question is, how many voters of GOP congressmen wanted to have Obmacare replaced by a half baked bill, that was not cored and for which the congressmen had only 3 hours to read (and of which many admitted not reading it in full) before having to vote on it.
(and how many voter wanted, instead, that their GOP congressman only votes on a repeal bill that, even after scoring and ample time for analysis (before voting on it), proves to be better than Obamacare)

But obviously Trump (against his campaign promises) wants to throw the USA back to pre Obama times with its healthcare system.
And some clauses in the bill (like the amendment that allows US states to repeal the protection act from Obama times (that forbade prregnancies/rape/domestic violence to be seen as "preexisting condition")) don't make any sense at all with regards to fixing the healthcare system (it seems like Trump, in his hate for Obama, just wants to throw away everything that Obama created, no matter how good it is for the general population or not)

Well, the principle of solidarity is the most important factor in healthcare systems that actually are afforrdable to most of their members. No matter whether you call it socialist or not.
Actually by now all developed western countries have adopted some form of universal healthcare as their system of choice (as you can see in this linked article) ... the USA being the only notable eception from this.
It doesn't surprise me that the US healthcare system, with its reliance of egoistic capitalism, doesn't work (or rather: only works for the upper/upper middle classes and leaves the poorer part of th population out in the rain)

The funny thing is that Trump himself praised the australian healthcare system ... well, the australian healthcare system also is an universal healthcare system (an adaption of the british healthcare system, to be more exactly)

Of course rape is no preexisting condition.
Insurance agencies under the ACA aren't allowed to have rape or pegnanies or dmoestic violence as a preexisting condition, due to a certain protection clause.

And US states under Trumps AHCA Bill can drop out of this protection clause.

This would give Insurance Agencies in this state, once again, the freedom in picking out preexisting conditions.

And obviously, before Obamas ACA, pregnancies were considered preexisting conditions by insurance agencies and resulted in women getting denied an insurance for this reason.

With regards to rape they may, probably, not say verbatim "Rape is a preexisting condition", but they may state that this or that medical (or psychological) condition, which was caused by the rape, is a preexisting condition which results in higher premiums (and therefore in fact punish rape victims for having been raped)

Because the whole society profits from healthy citizens (including the state itself ... people who leave medical conditions untreated, because of he lack of money ... and then, in 5-10 years are (because the conditions worsened) totally unable to work (and therefore, instead of working and paying taxes, are on welfare) ... are higher burden on society/the state, than peple who have am affordable medical insurance and therefore are capable of working again after getting a treatment for their medical condition).

Also, if everyone pays into medical insurances, the medical insurance costs get lower for all people.

Except for the USA all high developed industrial nations nowadays have learned this lession, which is why thy all switched to some form of universal Healthcare.
The USA obviously isn't developed enough yet, to have learned it, which is why the USA have the most expensive yet most inefficient healthcare of all those nations and is a nation in which certain parts of the population are worse off than people in some 3rd world countries (with some families having to decide whether or not they can afford a chemotherapy for one of their children which has cancer (actually it seems like in the USA (at least before Obamacare) this problem may even arise if the family has a health insurance ... see here or here))
