Furthermore, it appears that fighting has erupted once again between government forces in Ukraine and Russian-backed rebels, so it's quite possible Ukraine won't exist as an independent nation by this time in 2018.

The really big one, though, is China. Depending on how the Trump administration plans to enforce its proclamations regarding Chinese occupation of the artificial islands it's built, well, that might lead to the Pacific blowing up big time.

Oh, and last but not least, Bannon's comments about the Middle East seem to indicate that, if his views take precedence, American troops will once again be flooding that region of the planet before much longer.
