    Flunked out at A&M, joined the navy, and have only recently(like the past few years) taken classes seriously. In my line of work people were also more interested in what professional certs you have rather than a degree.

      I've got a bachelor's now. Current plan is to get a job at an observatory/planetarium/science museum doing slightly technical stuff that doesn't require a PhD or science writing/instructional/PR stuff.
