Well you could always move out to, like, Purcellville
Half my *****ing is about traffic and you want me to move out further?

Between the Harris Teeter and the Galleria. My office is adjacent to the Galleria so my commute is nonexistent. Which is why I like it here, though the rent increased a bunch and I'm concerned that will happen again next year.

It wasn't a serious suggestion. I was agreeing that to get cheap land you have to go waaaaaay out there. In Rochester, I could drive 10 minutes and be out in farmland.

****, we're neighbors. I live in the same complex. You work at Palantir?

You don't have a newfoundland named Chewie, do you?

We just re-upped our lease and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I had heard that Avalon has a tendency to increase monthly rent by like 500 a month, it was more like $120ish for us.

No, I work at an actuarial firm (same one as Kuci actually, heh). And no dog. I want one but I haven't found a breed yet I can shut off while I'm at work.

Stop by anytime! If you're free, I'm holding a new years eve party, HC, Kuci, and the new Mrs. Kuci will be there of course. No word on Jaguar yet. I can PM you my address.

Speaking of which HC is in Merrifield and Kuci is in Ballston. So we're all still in the area.

Sounds like a possibility. I'll ask the SO about it. Sounds better than just staying in or wading into town.

Likewise, you can come over and look at my vast collection of firearms.

It costs a lot of money to sit in traffic this bad.

I really don't mind the traffic all that much. Yeah, it's ****ty; but I grew up with it, so it's normal. The traffic elsewhere just seems like it's not trying hard enough.

I'm older than you, so everything was better back in my day, including the traffic. Because that guy eating a bowl of cereal was still paying more attention than today's smartphone bobble heads.

Gawd what took all of you so long to graduate? I did it 30 years ago.

                          1. Congratulations to Lori. Next up: 4-year-college? Grad school? 50-page thread hemming and hawing over what to do next?

                          2. DC happens to have a very nice zoo, and museums and stuff. Probably some other good things? Maybe?
