  • I'm never gonna get out of this ****ty town

Me and the SO are trying to move to Texas so I can return to A&M and finish my degree. In August I got a job offer in Houston and after much negotiation it became clear that we weren't going to come to an agreement on compensation. Then the SO got promoted at her work, so that's great, but we're basically stuck here for a bit longer.

I really ****ing hate the DC Area. I would rather take an anthrax shot to the testicle than spend another year here.

How are things with you guys?
Today, you are the waves of the Pacific, pushing ever eastward. You are the sequoias rising from the Sierra Nevada, defiant and enduring.

I'm doing OK, except for the anthrax in my scrotum... it did kill the maggots.
There's nothing wrong with the dream, my friend, the problem lies with the dreamer.

What's not to like? Aside from the omnipresent traffic caused by all the ****ty drivers meaning it takes at least five times longer to get to the (purportedly) interesting places to go and see, and things to do.

I have defeated Schizophrenia. My paranoia is all but gone and I no longer have grandiose delusions.

I have a powarful new mindset as a result, my faith in God is restored, and I am not afraid of death.

I graduate today, which means I no longer have any reason to stay in the DC area (except my friends and family). Would like to get a job as a night technician on a telescope in Hawaii...

Hawaii's great but the cost of living is excruciating.

Holy crap. I didn't realize they let people stay down there that long.
