Another shooting in Florida. But more guns would solve the problem, right? It doesn't seem to be a terrorist attack at all. Probably just another messed person. Florida has some of the weakest gun control laws in the nation... Yet guns aren't the problem according to some.

For there is [another] kind of violence, slower but just as deadly, destructive as the shot or the bomb in the night. This is the violence of institutions -- indifference, inaction, and decay. This is the violence that afflicts the poor, that poisons relations between men because their skin has different colors. - Bobby Kennedy (Mindless Menance of Violence)

For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

You just don't hear about it on the sensationalist media.
You think by having weak and lax gun enforcement it will make you feel safer? Gun related crime, including homicides, is twenty times higher in the United States than in any other OECD country (on average).
But gun control doesn't help.
Murders by guns is way higher in America. You just don't hear about them because they aren't news worthy. For there is [another] kind of violence, slower but just as deadly, destructive as the shot or the bomb in the night. I am intrigued as to how we can apply your thinking "Why bother with x, it won't stop all y" to other spheres.
Is a police force really the answer to crime? They can't stop all crimes.
Are doctors really the answer to healthcare issues? They can't save all patients with medical conditions.
Are speed limits really the answer to car accidents? You can't stop everyone speeding. One day Canada will rule the world, and then we'll all be sorry.

Given that they were a part of a Russian Federation, a better question is why Yeltsin waited for so long before trying to fix the problem (then again, he was a leader of a comprador bourgeoisie administration of Russia). And, naturally, with armed bands lead by local warlods controlling almost all territory of Chechnya, the only way was a military way.
But yeah, they won't tell you that on your western propaganda TV.
P.S. And another one in Ansbach?
Don't tell we didn't warn you that:
1) It's a bad idea to be USA vassal. They did that **** in Middle East, and now their NATO allies are in big ****, while USA is totally safe on their continent. And naturally, while USA did the most work destroying other countries, they don't take any refugees from said countries. They have vassals like Germany or France for that duty.
2) It's a bad idea to destroy other countries. Try actually making other countries better for a change, like USSR did. You know, building schools, factories, power stations, things like that. Not bombing them.
And of course, you totally deserve what you get now. Think about it as about a punishment for your crimes - you destroyed other countries, and now you pay a price for it. Totally deserved price. Hopefully that will make people of EU think a little before voting for leaders who support USA in all their insane geopolitical schemes.Last edited by Ellestar; July 25, 2016, 17:16.Knowledge is Power
