Agreed, this looks more like a shooting that happens in the US. The Orlando shooting looks more like a European attack. Though the two places share a large overlap, of course.

The Orlando attack looks nothing like a European attack. The Orlando attack was done by one lone individual who was deranged and unstable. Orlando was not motivated by Islamic terrorism.
For there is [another] kind of violence, slower but just as deadly, destructive as the shot or the bomb in the night. This is the violence of institutions -- indifference, inaction, and decay. This is the violence that afflicts the poor, that poisons relations between men because their skin has different colors. - Bobby Kennedy (Mindless Menance of Violence)

While it was a lone individual, claiming that it was not motivated by Islamic terrorism seems pretty stupid. The shooter pledged allegiance to ISIS and claimed to be seeking revenge for American intervention in Iraq and Syria.

Exactly. The guy was gay and hated himself for it so he thought he'd become an "isis fanatic".

That's a cop out argument and one that doesn't have any sort of substance. The man may have said that, but it doesn't make it true. Again, he was a lone individual with serious mental issues. Islamic terrorism... I don't think so.

Thats what he claimed. He was a crazed drunk and possibly gay (or bi). Just like the bi street hustler who lost his mind to alcohol in Nice. He used a different story to cover up his real motive.

Right, so your attribution of his motives should carry much more weight than the individual himself.

Thanks for playing; seems like your swing to the other side of the ideological spectrum was unaccompanied by any improvement in your logical faculties.

My attribution is based on facts and first hand accounts (including one from his male exlover).

You haven't presented any shred of proof, so the same to you.

                    So this guy is lying.

If he wanted media attention, he wouldn't have hid his identity.

If shooters are organized, they will be able to acquire guns, no matter the degree of official control.
                      I see:

Obviously it was a deactivated stage weapon that had been made functional again (non functional weapons are freely available ... for weapons collectors, for example ... AFAIK they have the lock ground down and the barrel welded shut ... therefore someone with enough knowledge in mechanics and metalworking (and maybe some foreign sources for replacement parts) can make it functional again ... which, of course, is illegal)

It also seems like he planned the amok run since last summer, also doing research on past amok runs ... and he was a fan of Egoshooters

Guess we now get a witches hunt against Egoshooters again

That's peculiar. I didn't read any report about sexual orientation problems of the killer in niece. (admideadly I don't make it a habit of indulging in these sort of news)
He seemed your basic low life thug wife beaten who drunk and smoked pot.

There were reports he was also paid to have sex with a 70 year old man. But I don't about that one.

The latest news is another Syrian refugee went on a machete rampage in Germany killing one woman and injuring others before a passing motorist decided to end the terrorist's private jihad by running him over with his car.

As far as I've read, while the Orlando killer went to Pulse many times and had gay hook up app accounts, nobody has actually said they ever had sex with him and the authorities said they didn't know if he was gay or doing surveillance. If he did hate himself because he was gay, Islam probably did play some kind of part, since it's not exactly friendly to homosexuality in many of its implementations.

That's not really true according to the article I have posted.
