Why do agnostics ask questions that require an answer that can't be proven true?

Why do you believe in a religion that can't be proven true?
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

Because those are the only religions.

Which of the only religions is the onlyest and where's the proof for that?

If there is a God, only one religion is right and the rest are wrong.
If there is no God, all religions are wrong.

Not much of a chance of being right when it comes to religion.

Odds are good that all religions are wrong even if there is a God

Depends on the question. There are different levels of proof.

Why would God create human beings with the tendency to believe in religion if all religions are false?

Maybe god didn't create us and we're just afraid of the nothingness of death.
So we made up a god to comfort us.

                            Okay, how about for a^2 + b^2 = c^2

Who (besides you) can claim to understand the ineffable whims of God? Seriously, you claim that God is an omnipotent omniscient omnipresent entity and yet you also claim that your sub-par human mind can somehow comprehend God
