I've tried being kind and that didn't work - you reacted very angrily - and I have an unfortunate tendency to fall back onto snarkiness in situations like this. You've reacted far more negatively to kindness than to snarkiness, so you get snarkiness. Like I said, I figured you were pulling an AAHZ, in your case treating the forum as some sort of game where you can see how many people you can rile up (I suspect that BK is doing the same thing to some extent). The fact that you appear to take pride in having people "hate" you only strengthens this impression.

When a person asks this question, asking them if they are one (since you're claiming that a person accused you of it) is fair game in my book.

I'm just giving you the opportunity to deny it. For most people that would be reasonable.

I'm not demonizing you, I'm saying, quite honestly, that your behavior does not resemble that of a sane and balanced human being to me. You're not dangerously insane or anything, but you jump to bizarre conclusions that simply don't follow logically from what other people say.

The point of the idol quote was that God, being infinite, cannot be contained by human reason, and we must therefore take tremendous care in saying anything definitive about Him.

We need a sort-of balance of both in order to be reasonable people - too much doubt and you're paralyzed into inaction, too much surety and you're a douchebag.
