I don't hate you, I believe you're quite literally mildly psychotic and in general no good, for us or you, comes of arguing with you. Though I have my weak moments like everybody else, I earnestly advise you to seek psychiatric counseling.

I've tried being kind and that didn't work - you reacted very angrily - and I have an unfortunate tendency to fall back onto snarkiness in situations like this. I sincerely apologize if this has caused you to be unhappy, I had been under the impression that you were treating this forum much like AAHZ does.Originally posted by Kidicious View PostIf you hope that I'm happy then why do you constantly treat me like sshat<p style="font-size:1024px">HTML is disabled in signatures

You've reacted far more negatively to kindness than to snarkiness, so you get snarkiness. Like I said, I figured you were pulling an AAHZ, in your case treating the forum as some sort of game where you can see how many people you can rile up (I suspect that BK is doing the same thing to some extent). The fact that you appear to take pride in having people "hate" you only strengthens this impression.Originally posted by Kidicious View PostYou mean by calling me a deadbeat dad?

When a person asks this question, asking them if they are one (since you're claiming that a person accused you of it) is fair game in my book.So you don't hate deadbeat dads?
I'm just giving you the opportunity to deny it. For most people that would be reasonable. It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

loin: Maybe you shouldn't take your anger at your ex-wife out on your kid
Kidicious: **** you!!!!!
vs
loin: Don't be a deadbeat dad
Kidicious: **** you!!!

I'm not demonizing you, I'm saying, quite honestly, that your behavior does not resemble that of a sane and balanced human being to me. You're not dangerously insane or anything, but you jump to bizarre conclusions that simply don't follow logically from what other people say.Originally posted by Kidicious View PostIf you don't hate me then why do you demonize me?
And do you worship an idol?
The point of the idol quote was that God, being infinite, cannot be contained by human reason, and we must therefore take tremendous care in saying anything definitive about Him.

I think that both doubts and surety have their place in life.
I don't think that either is inherently less valuable or a sign that 'you are doing it wrong'.

We need a sort-of balance of both in order to be reasonable people - too much doubt and you're paralyzed into inaction, too much surety and you're a douchebag.Originally posted by Jon Miller View PostI think that both doubts and surety have their place in life.

If someone asked you if you were a deadbeat dad you wouldn't think they hate you? All you do is bull**** on this forum.Originally posted by rah View PostWhen a person asks this question, asking them if they are one (since you're claiming that a person accused you of it) is fair game in my book.
