Great, at least we'll have a President who will later regret invading random countries

What, you mean she tried to distance herself from the single biggest foreign-policy cockup of the present century? Of course she did. The fact remains that, in spite of being much more experienced in these matters than Obama--having lived with the commander-in-chief of our military for eight years--she was in favor and he was not. All this may simply be a reflection of her need, as a female politician, to posture and appear needlessly aggressive to avoid unfair allegations of feminine weakness. The fact remains that she has consistently waved the saber more aggressively than our present POTUS.

I don't think she would advocate doing that at this point in time. Trump, however, scares me. He wanted large numbers of ground forces in Syria.

Many democrats in Congress went along with it because popular opinion at the time was not on their side. It was weakness in the Democratic Party as a whole. That and the Bush administration lied to Congress about what the capabilities of Saddam really were.

              • Well, yes, she is less bat**** insane and generally untrustworthy than Trump. So are Newt Gingrich, Pat Buchanan and Marilyn Manson. Xpost.

The case for the Iraq War was patent gibberish, relying on what Saddam might or might not have been doing in some trailers in the desert which we had very scary fuzzy satellite photos of. At best, Clinton was gulled or a coward like the rest, which doesn't speak well for her.

                • "It was the popular thing to do!" is a pretty poor excuse for voting for a war

She made a mistake and recognized that. She is far better than the three you named. She is an adequate choice. Not outstanding, but certainly one who wouldn't launch us into unnecessary wars. And Sanders has endorsed her too.

The Bush administration outright lied and doctored evidence to push the war.

I'm the forum admin, so "we" can do nothing.

But answer this question... did you even bother to read the speech before you made your "grand claims"... Or did you just read a line or two of crap on one of your nut job sites and think you knew it all...
Do you normally threaten to permaban people after they say you are a super great mod?

You are the greatest mod the world has ever known. Mods throughout the world should live up to your standard. You shouldn't permaban people just because they said that you are a super great mod,
