Yeah, and when Georgia joined Russian Empire, their nobility got equal rights with Russian nobility. Do you imagine British Lords giving equal rights with them to nobility from India? And India is a much more ancient country than Britain, that was a bunch of barbarians under Roman rule while India already was a great culture.

Just look at Afghanistan, what people think about Russian and US soldiers. Same local people, about the same situation. But USA soldier treat locals as ****, and people notice it. If you're poor champ who doesn't have a home and can't just take money from your pocket to buy a house, you do what exactly? You come to Banksters and tell them, guys, i'm broke and have nowhere to live, give me a credit. And they say, ok, you work for our friend Capitalist Pig so we give you home as long as you work, and maaaaybe in a far away future you can actually pay a credit back. And so a hundreds of millions of slaves live in these days in the West, working for their masters for entire lives, and not even owning a place to live. Funny enough, Russian household servants (aka "slaves" for Westerners) had more social guarantees because you wasn't able to just kick them out of your home if you don't want to feed them.

So, anyway, real slavery is a little bit different - it's when Nazis enslave other nations because they think they're better and they have a god given right to enslave others. You're going to struggle to whitewash Stalin's memory to be fair. There's something about passing policies that kill tens of millions of people, and regularly having your own government and military members murdered for no reason which make people think you're probably a bad guy.
