      Blah blah blah but the fact is, right now there are more prisoners in USA than there was in 1939 in USSR, and it was a peak year in a number of prisoners (about 30% - 40% more than in any other year). So, even in a year when USSR squelched a major coup attempt, it had less prisoners than USA has right now. But of course USA is a paragon of democracy, and USA will bomb everyone who will say overwise

                          Nothing keeps the prison population down quite like really brutal conditions and a short life expectancy does.

                            With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.
