I finally got Civ 4 to work on my old laptop without it overheating. I never played Civ 5 or BE but the reviews I've read from people here says they suck. I like my Civ 4 anyways and after thrashing Noble level I am doing fairly average on Prince Level.

I played lots of MP on Civ 3 and I played a couple diplo games on Civ 4 but I forgot how to do it or even if my laptop can handle it now.

I work tomorrow but I'm off on Sunday so I'm game I suppose.

I started playing Dominions 4 MP recently. Civ 5 is just crap, honestly. Civ 4 was nice but it's not really that deep, it gets old after i played so many MP games. Dominions is a waaaay more complex game than Civ 4, looks fun for me for now.

Civ 5 with the expansions is a good game. I still don't like the unit meatballs all over the place, but whatever. Civ BE is much, MUCH better with rising tide.

You should. It makes it feel less like civ 5 in space, and more like it's own game.

I am waiting to see what the Christmas sales bring for PCs. I don't play a huge amount of games but do what my new system to be powerful enough to do that if I want to, does anyone have any suggestions? I have been told Lenovo has good moderate gaming/general use machines at reasonable prices. My only real requirement is Win10 instead of Win8.1 and a 4K monitor.
