I did see something not to l ok ng ago though that there was some serious work going on to find different mediums from which to create antibiotics.

Hopefully they will not be stupid enough to give those to livestock and will have more strict human controls...assuming they pan out.

If not, then we may be looking at tens of millions dying needlessly.
funnily enough that was my thought too. non-stop coverage of something that, although awful, is ultimately inconsequential (well apart from possibly involving the west in another middle eastern ground war ), while something that is likely to seriously impact humanity barely gets a mention. explosions sell, i suppose.

      Just sayin'
Yes, but what was the intent of the gun? Was it manufactured in a nurturing environment? Maybe it was sold in a bad environment and just got involved with the wrong people. Did the gun get the same opportunities as a military gun (i.e. "good gun") would have gotten?

Don't be to harsh on the crime a gun commits until you know its background.

No doubt. When TV finds a way to dramatize people dying of infection then the public might actually notice.

You'll get drunk and then forget about the plague and wander outside

Or as soon as he steps out of the bunker, after those 2 years, he gets eaten by the first pack of zombies that cross his path

How long can zombies function without food?

A smart survivalist would capture a zombie and cryogenically freeze it. Then after all the zombies expired and the rest of the survivalists started coming out of their bunkers, thaw the zombie, set it free.

there are too many people on this planet now. we need something to wipe out about %75 of the population. Of course, i'm talking about 'others'.
