school investment - for 20 years (a generation) like militart budget. wow.. what a differmce that would make. how can you say it wouldnrt?!?

I guess my post went right over your head. So lets talk as a nation every time a drunk kills 6 people on the highway. you never hear about that. no matter how many laws you pile on it still going to happen. how to jeb put it? stuff happens. make guns illegal to own out right... or lets spend our time and money fixing the highways and schools first.

Are more or less people being killed by drunk driving since it was legislated against?

Edit: Oh and the competing expenditure priorities argument. How about less corporate welfare and tax loopholes? Less on "defense"? (A misnomer in the US's case, if ever there was one).

Yes. It doesn't happen in every other country with such laws.
