I'm only doing it for the money. I don't know why they pay people more to do sharepoint or why businesses even go with it most the time. Everything takes longer than it should to do something in it and it's tedious. Most the applications I see could easily have been done with just a straight MVC app. They should at least get rid of CAML and update the way they store and read data. It's not 2003. At least they are finally moving everything to the cloud so the SP implementation details will be more from an API standpoint almost like working with Salesforce or something.
