I completely forgot about it until someone made a joke because they were flying today.

Anyway, the bigger tragedy of 9/11 isn't the attack on the buildings, it the truly disastrous response to that attack.

I hate to admit it but DaShi is right. For once anyway.

Mario Maker was released yesterday... I take it we can't forget about the game and must now play it for 14 years?

Strangely enough I can't remember any threads about August 6 or August 9 despite it's 70 years ago it happened and way more people was killed

They were killed by an official military so let's let bygones be bygones.

Well, maybe you are right - terrorism done by official governments are ok while civilian rebellionistas doing the same isn't.

Yes, it is strange that you can't remember any threads about Hiroshima and Nagasaki. I can.

would it be possible to pull off another 9/11 today.

I wonder... of course if it is, if you go by probability. But that day changed more than other day since. right?

how many more like that have been attempted but failed? or just didn't pan out and aborted? which I guess is more likely the case. a failed attempy would be known after.

We don't know the details of that Malaysian Airline flight, and may not know all the details of the crashed Germanwings flight. Of course its possible. 95% of the airline/airport security is window dressing.
