  • Is this supposed to be satire?

    • i saw that hit piece a little while ago. it reads like a mediocre public schoolboy's re-imagining of 'a very british coup'; but then i would say that, wouldn't i. more interestingly, if you want to see what the proto-fascist curtain twitchers who read the daily heil think, go to the comments where it gets almost universally panned.

edit: also, who the **** describes their own work as 'a brilliant imagining'?

      • but it's good news about corbyn, and with almost 60% of the vote in a 4 person election and having won comfortably among all sections of the electorate, he has a very clear mandate.

He will be undermined from all positions, by his own party, the business, internationally. Will be interesting to see how he rides the waves, now that he is the leader of the opposition.
he's done pretty well so far, all the attacks have bounced off him, and he seems pretty steadfast in his refusal to play the game of appeasement that previous labour leaders have tried and failed at. really though, whatever ****e is thrown at him, and there will be more than in a enclosure full of monkeys with explosive diarrhoea, just by putting his social democratic ideas into the mainstream he will do a lot to change the debate in the UK.

            • I yeah.
And now that he is in opposition, he will be PM of britain.
              It's simply unavoidable.
All politicians from that fabric when managing to arrive in axiomatic opposition are unstopable.

Though you have the freedom to stick an ice pick in your eye, you should not.

So long as you mean more freedom and less taxes.
