Imran believes a giant invisible man exists and that he controls the universe.

That's a pretty extreme belief (compared to reality).
To us, it is the BEAST.

"Extreme" is apparently defined as "something not very many Americans would agree with".

Yes, after all, the Republican presidential candidates are far from extreme - particularly that nice Mr Trump.

I would still like to hear from Imran exactly which of my views he finds extreme? Extremely nice?

To be pedantic, no I don't.

If it helps any, Saras and chegitz were also some of the saner extremists .

                Why so coy, Imran?

Surely if I was this 'sane' extremist (whatever that means?), it would be easy to point to examples of my extremism?

Didn't you just post a thread saying "Socialism is the Future"?

Do you take everything I say or do so literally?

Do you literally believe I believe that?

                      What is that thread about?

Maybe the OP is the clue - that it is a commentary on a perceived shift in the voting public's attitudes?

Also, what is so extreme about populist policies?

So, back to the drawing board for you Imran, how am I an extremist?

One of your incarnations is actually for Bernie Sanders

I think you are for Corbyn too... I have to find that thread somewhere.

Um, and what is necessarily wrong with that, when virtually the entire field of candidates on BOTH sides are a bunch of dishonest liars and lunatics? Maybe I'm merely favouring the least worst option - you know, if I had to choose?

How is favouring the second most popular choice of either party an extremist position to take?

Why do you want to vote for a proven liar with a shady past...? Surely that is a worse position to take?

I think you are for Corbyn too... I have to find that thread somewhere.
I'm not 'FOR' Corbyn either. Again, he represents the least worst choice IMO. You do understand what least worst means, right?

Corbyn doesn't even represent the party that I am proud to be a member of.

So, again, why am I an extremist, Imran?

If Ted Cruz is an extremist, then Bernie Sanders most definitely is.

I think one definitely shows his or her hand when they claim that the farthest left choice is the "least worst" choice in both the US and UK.

Depends on your definition of extremism. A lot of Sanders positions are only 'extreme' today because of how far politics has shifted right over the last 35 years. Most of the rest are only extreme if you consider how most of Europe governs itself to be extreme. There's very little that he stands for that is particularly radical.

Exactly. Most of the US public agrees with Bernie, therefore I agree with most of the US public. How can that possibly be seen as extreme? It is only the establishment that paints these policies as extreme, for, I suspect, very selfish reasons.

This is why I am still eager to pin down even one example of why Imran thinks I'm an extremist, but he's being more slippery than a dodgy politician on the subject.

So far all I have concluded is that I am more extremely opposite to Ben compared to him. That can only be a good thing in my books, because it stands to reason therefore that Imran agrees with Ben on a number of important subjects, whereas I do not.
